On July 3, 2014, the Hungary national football team played a friendly match against Costa Rica in San Jose. The Hungarians lost 1-0, but the game was notable for other reasons. For one, the players were wearing special Hawaiian shirts and shorts donated by Adidas. And for another, the match was part of a bigger campaign by Adidas to promote its new "Hawaii" line of clothing. While some people mocked the players' attire, others applauded Adidas for its creativity and sense of humor.
